Moringa plant, also referred to as “horseradish tree”, “drumstick tree”, and “miracle tree”, is a plant with round leaves which are extremely beneficial! In fact, Moringa possesses medicinal properties for which the plant itself has been long used to treat numerous diseases. The leaves of this plant contain many vitamins and minerals, such as potassium, beta-carotene, calcium, vitamin C, and proteins. Amazingly, Ayurvedic medicine suggests that Moringa can cure more than 300 diseases!

Given the fact that Moringa is rich in fibers, it has the ability to eliminate waste from the intestines and enhance the function of your digestive system. Its contents regulate the thyroid`s function, which makes it very beneficial for those with hyperactive thyroid. It also contains niaziminin, a compound which possesses anti-tumor and anti-cancer properties. Finally, it contains isothiocyanates, compound which act as anti-bacterial agents and eliminate H. Pylori bacteria, which is the main cause of gastritis and gastric ulcers.

NUTRITIONAL VALUE (100g)

  • 25 times more iron than spinach
  • 17 times more calcium than milk
  • 15 more potassium than bananas
  • 12 times more vitamin C than oranges
  • 10 times more vitamin A than carrots
  • 9 times more protein than yogurt

Recent study has shown that the consumption of 7 grams of Moringa leaf powder for three months can reduce blood sugar levels for up to 13.5%.

Even though Moringaoleifera is present on the market for only a decade, it has been long used as folk remedy. It is native to India and it is mostly grown in Africa, Central America, and the Caribbean. By looking from this perspective it seems that there is a strong correlation between this plant and the reason why people in India are at an 84% lower death rate of pancreatic cancer when compared to people living in the U.S.
