Usually red color means danger, so blood in the urine or nosebleed turns off the fear alarm that something is happening with our organism. If there are just a few drops of blood, your head directly activates the fear that your health might be deteriorated. But, in a lot of cases there is no place for panic. If you really often notice a few drops of blood on your handkerchief or you get an unexpected nosebleed. What happens? When your nose is bleeding that often occurs as a consequence to sinusitis, allergies or a cold. The heat and dry and polluted, air as well can make the nose mucosa oversensitive. If you’re a girl and if your menses is approaching, your hormones can also cause a nosebleed.
For this problem there are the other reasons too. The nose bleeding in people older than 50, can indicate a raised high pressure. What can you do? Blow your nose so that the blood clot goes out, and then bend your head forward, to prevent the blood from going into your throat and cause vomiting. Use the thumb to prevent the bleeding and the index finger to keep the nose pressed for 3 minutes. You must refresh your forehead with some cold water and ice.
Visit your physician, if you don’t want the nose bleeding to reoccur and exclude the possibility of heaving liver diseases, blood diseases, high blood pressure and coagulation problems.
