For millennia mankind is searching for the secrets of a long and healthy life, and they obviously looked at the wrong places.

According to the latest research, scientists believe that the heavy water (deuterium oxide or D2O or 2H2O, plain water that is enriched with an additional molecule of hydrogen) is the key to a long life and that you can add up to ten years of age that otherwise you would have not lived. In fact, if we modify our diet, reject beef and eggs, using hydrogen could give us longevity.

This could be achieved when the animals would drink the water, and the plants would also be poured with it. This idea, which was developed by the former Oxford student Michael Shepinov, met with good reception in the scientific community and the organizations fighting to extend the life span of the human species, although in this case there are skeptics.

However, because heavy water is not a form of liquid that could be found anywhere, for now you have to be satisfied with plain water which is as healthy and prolongs our life.

The results of a recent research in this area suggest that if you drink less than one liter of water per day, for a longer period of time, you feel weakness, dryness of skin and mucous membrane, weaker concentration, headaches, lack of energy, low volume of blood plasma, dizziness…

If you consume at least two liters of water a day, you are reducing the risk for the occurrence of kidney stones by 50 percent, to maintain the level of hydration which your body needs, you will feel better, feel fresher, more energetic, healthier, and you will live longer. Water is also good to be consumed in small sips during the day if you are able, because when you drink a whole glass of water suddenly it just passes through the body.

Remember, any lost fluid from the body must make up for it to work properly. And it is better to bring in slightly larger quantities than you need, because the organism is capable of regulating it.
