The famous list of New Year’s resolutions, the one we all make when the new year arrives. At this precise moment, everything seems possible and feasible.  Lose 20 kg? In the pocket! Read 200 books? Easy! Buying a car? Yes! Starting your own business? Why not! And that’s the mistake not to make. Indeed, it is necessary to set achievable goals so as not to get carried away by the excitement and ephemeral over-motivation, which usually does not last. So, in 2023, start by setting specific and realistic goals. Check out these 4 resolution ideas to stay on track and achieve your goals.

Embark on a new adventure

What could be better than embarking on a brand new, exciting and captivating adventure? Starting your own business? Open a travel blog? Become a beauty influencer? Whether it’s a lifelong dream or a personal passion, daring is key. The best advice to give when starting from scratch is to put down your ideas and organize a plan of attack. You can, for example, use a structured template for design enthusiasts, or write in a notebook for paper lovers. It is by starting with the basics that you can build your project. One thing is certain, luck smiles on the bold.

Taking care of yourself

A very good resolution is also to take care of yourself, to listen to yourself, and to give yourself time to rest and relax. Taking care of yourself means, for example, taking care of your skin, your hair, your body. Feeling good, beautiful and fit, is of crucial importance on your morale. Self-care also involves a good night’s restful sleep. Feeling tired or exhausted will also weigh on your morale and will not help you move forward on your projects. Finally, doing sports or physical activity 2 to 3 times a week is also highly recommended for your balance.

Eating healthy

Sometimes, at the end of a long day, all you want to do is order a pizza. And it can be understood, routine, work, fatigue, are elements of everyday life that can discourage you from cooking every day, and thus eating healthy. Making a resolution to cook at least one new recipe every week, for example, may be more beneficial than you think. This will save you money, plan your meals, and discover new flavors. Also favor fresh and local foods, your new recipes will be even better.

Spend less time on social media

The French spend about 2 hours on average on social networks. Sure, social media is a great way to stay in touch with friends and family, but it can also seriously waste your time. If you want to spend less time on social media in 2023, try setting limits for yourself, like checking Facebook just once a day or only using Instagram for 30 minutes a day. Better yet, look at the statistics on your smartphone about the time spent on networks, and you’ll be surprised by the data displayed. Think of all the things you could do with this free wasted time: move forward on a project you’re passionate about, play sports, cook new recipes, etc.

As you will have understood, these ideas of resolutions are achievable and can really help you fulfill yourself. Whether it’s small changes or big projects, listen to yourself and your desires. Try to keep your resolutions, you will only be more proud of yourself.
