It is a well-known fact that glowing skin requires proper treatment of the face. Washing the face at least twice daily is critical for keeping the skin young-looking. Another important thing is the type of face cleanser you use. Namely, many products available in the local stores are loaded with chemicals, all of which are anything but good for the skin. Therefore, preparing a face cleanser on your own is probably the best option you are left with.

Today, we present a recipe for a cleanser which does wonders for your face. All the ingredients it contains are completely natural and it is very likely that you already have them in your kitchen cabinet. As a matter of fact, is comprises only two ingredients: coconut oil and baking soda, both of which are extremely beneficial for the skin and make it look smooth and gloomy.

Coconut Oil: The coconut oil has antibacterial and healing properties which work great for problematic skin and provide nourishment to every skin type. By combining coconut oil and baking soda you get a solution which reduces harshness and it works as amazing face cleanser.

Baking Soda: Sodium bicarbonate, commonly referred to as baking soda, is probably the most widely used ingredient in the kitchen. It is highly versatile ingredient and it can be used for variety of things, including home remedies, whitening the teeth, eliminating bad odor, and balancing the skin pH levels. Given the fact that the imbalance of pH levels is the main reason for acne, baking soda is used as preventive measure.
