Gudrun Howell · March 1, 2018 ·

Everybody loves chocolate. Luckily, it has been proved that the black chocolate is very good for our health. It is rich with antioxidants and provides us with many health benefits, like reducing cholesterol and blood sugar levels. It contains magnesium which is helpful for calming the nervous system and muscles, build teeth and bones. The copper is also included in dark chocolate which is required for the metabolic functions in the body. The coconut oil is considered as one of the greatest sources of medium-chain fatty acids, which can do wonders for the slower metabolism.

It is not hard to prepare your own chocolate. You should only mix cocoa powder with coconut oil, vanilla, salt and sugar together and you will have your tasty chocolate bar.

Coconut Oil Chocolate: The Best Metabolism-Boosting Snack

  • ¾ cup of coconut oil
  • 6 tablespoons of raw cacao
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla
  • Dash of salt

Melt your oil. Mix all the ingredients and put one tablespoon of the mixture in the molds. You can use some ice cube tray. Keep it in the fridge or freezer for 10-15 minutes.

The coconut oil is considered as one of the best metabolism-enhancing foods in the world. You can raise your body temperature and metabolic rate within a week with the help of coconut oil.

“Coconut oil is capable to help with the metabolic rate and body heat. The medium-chain saturated fatty acids act like warming component. Coconut oil is rich with calories and has very low levels of water. Cooking foods in oil will raise the calorie to water ratio (which will produce warming effect from the foods).”
