How to Cure Varicose Veins with the Help of Tomato | Healthy Life Vision

Gudrun Howell · December 26, 2017 ·

There are many articles about treating varicose veins, especially about the methods used in the Russian folk medicine that came up to be efficient. Here is another way of dealing with this issue.

Everyone knows tomatoes are healthy and have many benefits, but not everyone knows all of their benefits and that they are used as a cure for varicose veins.

For this purpose you can use both green and red, ripe tomatoes.

The treatment of varicose veins with green tomatoes

Green tomato is used for treating varicose veins, so we can say it is a home remedy.

Wash a few green tomatoes and slice them or cut them into rings. Apply the slices right on the nodes of varicose veins and the capillary network. You can also tie a bandage. As soon as you start to feel tingling on your skin, remove the green tomato slices. If you cannot stand this feeling, wash the skin and the veins with cool water. If you do this procedure 5 times daily, you will see the positive results very soon.

After two weeks of regular application of sliced green tomatoes on your varicose veins, the nodes should start fading. All the symptoms, the pain, the tingling, as well as the nodes and the capillary network will finally disappear.

You can also use red tomatoes, not only green ones, but for this purpose.

The treatment of varicose veins with ripe red tomatoes

It is a similar process. Wash ripe tomatoes and then slice them. Apply some slices on the varicose veins and keep them for 3 to 4 hours, preferably tied with a bandage, and then replace them with new slices. It is recommended that you do this in the evening or at night.

You should repeat this procedure as much as you need, it is completely individual. You are allowed to do this throughout the whole summer, as long as it is red tomatoes season, but you can also combine green tomatoes in the treatment.

This extraordinary feature of tomatoes is due to the presence of a substance which has similar features to aspirin. Besides the seed, tomatoes contain this acid, which is an anticoagulant and thins the blood, thus preventing stagnation. Additionally, the flavanoids which tomatoes contain serve as a blood vessel walls’ strengtheners.
