Bernardo Lapallo is vital as a young man, although he is 113 years old! He walks without help and looks like he is in his 70’s. He reads a books and solves crosswords, which means his mental health is in good condition.

He walks around 2.5 km daily and he has all of his teeth. He says that his grandmother lived 107 years, his mother 105 years and his father 99, which points out that the genes are playing important role in his longevity. But, he has some herbal tips in his sleeve, which he learned from his father who was a herbalist. His secret is in the diet rich in fruits, vegetables and a lot of water. He also says that adequate rest and sleep are very important as well. He says that consummation of honey, cinnamon, olive oil and garlic are highly recommended for longer life.

Honey

Honey is loaded with antioxidants which are essential for the protection from many diseases. It is a natural sweetener and cure for numerous ailments. It is also used in preparation of homemade facial masks which are highly beneficial for your skin and tne skin problems.

Cinnamon

It is a sweet spice that lowers blood sugar levels and cholesterol levels. It diminishes the inflammations and fights against infections. It is highly beneficial for the digestive system.

Garlic

Garlic is widely used in traditional medicine as one of the best remedies for numerous diseases. It reduces the high blood pressure and increased levels of cholesterol in long terms, and keeps you safe from cardiovascular disease thanks to the substance named allicin. Consume raw garlic in order to gain all the health benefits.
