Varicose veins are swollen and enlarged veins which appear close the skin`s surface and can be seen just under the skin.  Any vein may become varicose, but they mostly appear on the legs. In most cases they occur in the thighs and calves due to the weakened walls or poorly functioning valves.

The issue with varicose veins is very common in the U.S and 25 % of women and 10% of men are affected, according to the U.S Department of Health and Human Services.

There is no doubt that this condition is extremely disagreeable, due to the fact that it causes pain, restlessness, throbbing, tingling or heaviness in the legs, fatigue, and burning sensation. Sometimes, a person may even experience bulging or lumping veins.

Ultimately, nutrition plays an important role as well and sufficient intake of vitamin C and animal protein prevents weakening of vein walls.

On the other hand,  trans fatty acids and sugar cause inflammation, which in turn weakens the capillary walls.

Horse chestnut is one of the best things you can use, a tree which grows in the parks.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup finely chopped carrots
  • 3 tablespoons Aloe Vera gel
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

Simply put all the ingredients in a blender and mix well to create a fine past. Adjust the amount of the ingredients depending on the area you need to cover.

Use:

Apply the paste secure it with a bandage, if needed. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse it off with some lukewarm water. Raise your legs upwards while the paste works, for optimal results.

In case you have been wondering what makes his recipe so effective, note that all the ingredients it uses are extremely beneficial. Carrots are key ingredient in many skin-care products due to their antioxidant content. Aloe vera gel has anti-inflammatory properties which make it useful for many skin diseases. Ultimately, apple cider vinegar prevents blood clotting by acting as anticoagulant and blood thinner.
