The building up of too much uric acid in the body may cause painful forms of arthritis known as Gout. It is more common in men than in women, and it is usually caused by bad diet, which means you can treat it by changing the dietary habits.

How uric acid affects the body

Hyperuricemia is caused by abnormal amounts of uric corrosive in the blood, either from its expanded creation in the body or the diminished discharge through the kidneys. For women: 2.4-6.0mg/dl

If you drink water in great amounts you help your body in releasing from toxins, and uric acid as well. Drinking water regularly can help you prevent gout, so you should have at least 8-10 glasses of water daily.

Apple cider vinegar is a natural cleanser and helps in removing excess waste from the body. You can add one spoon of raw, organic apple vinegar to a glass of water, and drink this solution three times a day.

Lemon juice is also good for fighting gout. Squeeze the juice from one lemon in a glass of warm water and drink every morning on an empty stomach for a few weeks.

Eating half a cup of cherries every day for a few weeks can help in fighting gout, or drinking one or two cups of tart cherry juice.

Your diet also must consist of blueberries, strawberries, tomatoes, bell peppers and other vegetables and fruits that contain vitamin C and antioxidants.

You can mix a half teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and drink this solution for two weeks every day.

You should consume olive and coconut oil. Most vegetable oils turn into rancid fats when heated or processed so you should avoid them, because these rancid fats eliminate vitamin E from the body, essential for controlling the uric acid level.

You should also watch your weight.

Reduced alcohol, especially beer is good, because beer is well known anti uric corrosive and maintains the normal level of uric acid in the body. Wine, in little amounts, can also have the same effect.
