Oat Masks and Bath – The Solution for Dry Skin | Healthy Life Vision

Oats can help to moisturize and refresh dry skin. Oat contains high amounts of protein that, protect the skin and prevent the loss of water so that the moisture is retained, and the skin is not dry. Additionally, oats have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that are important for skin health.

The mask for dry skin on the face

To solve the problem of dry skin on the face, in a bowl mix mashed banana, a cup of oat flakes and some warm milk. Apply the mask on the dry skin and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Then wash your face with cold water. This mask should be used once a week.

Body bath of oats

If you have dry skin on your body put a cup of oat flakes in hot water in a bath. Add a few drops of essential oil of lavender and relax 15 to 30 minutes in hot water. Enjoy this bath once a week.

Mask for dry skin on your hands

Many people use oats to take care of the dry and chapped skin on the hands. To take care of the problematic skin on the hands, mix two tablespoons of oat flakes with ¼ cup of water. Leave the oats to stand for 10 minutes. Then add 1 ½ teaspoon of lemon juice and ½ teaspoon of butter and mix well. Apply the mask on your hands and leave it on for 2 minutes. Wash your hands with cold water, dry them and apply lotion.
