Strengthening the immunity is the first step in the prevention of the flu or colds. Nutrition plays an important role in strengthening the immune system, and there are drinks that are affordable and easy to prepare, and from which the immunity will be stronger and you will resist seasonal diseases.

Kefir is, with pumpkin, the main ingredient of this drink. It is wise to start something new in small quantities, kefir is no exception to that rule. You can drink as much as you want kefir in the end, if you like it. The usual amount is around 1-4 cups a day. Some people struggle with the first kefir probably because of its acidic nature, carbonation, alcohol (can be up to 2%), or large amounts of probiotics. A good idea in this case is just to let your body and digestion get used to the kefir. Start with 1/8 cup a day (you can even mix it in a full glass of water), and then gradually increase.

Kefir can be used as a pharmaceutical in large amounts or over a short period (such as the drink or after chemotherapy where 4 cups daily may be acceptable). A break once a week or so, when you do not consume kefir at least one day. Even in Tibet there is a belief that it is best to drink only two cups a day, and after 20 days rest for ten days.

Gennady Petrovich Malakhov the famous Russian writer of books on folk-traditional medicine, who lives and works in the city of Kamenski not far from Rostov-on-Don. He has published more than sixty books, which have sold over thirty million copies and translated into several foreign languages. In his books he wants to motivate people to get to know their body and to heal themselves. Many therapies, as recommended in his books, he applied to himself (Urine therapy, fasting etc.).

Follow Malahov’s great recipe that strengthens digestion and immunity.

The infusion of pumpkin for powerful digestion and boost immunity

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of natural kefir (of kefir fungi)
  • 150 grams of cooked and ground pumpkin (pumpkin)
  • 1 tablespoon of natural honey

Preparation:

Take 4 cups of kefir (about 8 dl) and 150 grams of cooked and ground pumpkin.

Mix well, and then add a tablespoon of natural honey.

This is really a great drink that has an extraordinary effect on the organs of digestion and strengthens the immune system throughout the body.
