How to use them to glue back together broken objects?

We no longer present it, it is the product to do everything! And yet, the list of uses of baking soda is far from complete. In this article, we introduce you to a new way to use baking soda. A super practical method at a lower cost! Let’s go!

Why mix baking soda with glue? Tricks!

Convenient to remove stains, fight against bad odors and shine silverware, this white powder is super practical! Did you know? Baking soda is also used to repair broken items in your home. Mixed with glue, it can repair all your broken valuables. Thanks to the bicarbonate, the glue is more resistant. It’s great!

For this, nothing so simple! Simply apply glue to the broken part of your object and sprinkle it with baking soda. This technique is valid for plastic, aluminum and wooden objects. Baking soda allows the glue to become stronger and more effective than ever. Thanks to this trick, it is possible to bring broken objects back to life! It’s all good!

The crisper in your refrigerator is broken? You do not think you will find the same model on the market? Don’t panic! You can fix it using baking soda and glue. To save your crisper, follow our steps:

  • Using the adhesive tape, keep both parts of your tray welded to ensure a better effect of the glue.
  • Wipe your crisper thoroughly to remove any residue that prevents the glue from adhering to.
  • Apply the glue to the surface to be consolidated.
  • Sprinkle the glue with baking soda.
  • All you have to do is remove the tape and voila! It’s done!
  • It’s simple! Isn’t it? A homemade trick with a very powerful combination. Your valuables will be repaired in no time. Although the result is far from perfect, this method still allows you to save your crisper.

    Want to cancel the effect of the glue? No worries! For this, you just need to use acetone. It is a convenient solvent for removing stains and glue residues. Careful! Acetone is a material that must be used with caution!

    Pour a little acetone on a clean cloth, apply it to the surface in question and then leave a little to see it supports acetone. Rub carefully and then pass a cloth by dabbing. Dry with a dry cloth and voila!

    To glue light objects still pieces of cardboard, this glue recipe based on baking soda and flour is effective and non-toxic.

    Here are the ingredients you need:

  • 1/4 cup hot water*
  • 1/4 cup warm milk or 2 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Instructions for use:

  • Powdered milk is dissolved in hot water or liquid milk is heated;
  • The vinegar is incorporated. A chemical reaction occurs and we continue to stir;
  • The mixture is filtered and the curd is preserved;
  • Baking soda is added. If it is too thick we add a little water;
  • Our glue is now ready.
  • Baking soda, an essential multi-purpose product to take care of yourself and your home. Do not hesitate to sprinkle it on glue or use it otherwise to glue any everyday object
