How to Maintain the Health of the Gut – Priorities for Health | Healthy Life Vision

Gudrun Howell · August 8, 2017 ·

Maintaining the health of the intestines and digestive system is not as simple task as it seems. If you regularly consume probiotics, and continued to smoke and drink alcohol, you will not achieve much, because there is no magic formula that will help you more than the constant application of healthy habits. For better health intestines, observe the following tips:

Eat several meals a day. Staying hungry is not good for the metabolism, or the maintenance of body weight, and even less about the health of the intestine. Consume several smaller meals throughout the day, and drink enough fluids between them.

You should always eat fresh plant foods. Your diet should be consisted of, fruit, vegetables, fruits and legumes. Each of your meals should contain some of these foods.

Eat foods rich in probiotics. Everyday eat yogurt and kefir, products that contain probiotics or live / active cultures.

Fiber is very important. The more fiber you eat, the better for your health, especially for the digestive system. They have the freshest food, and it is good to enter at least 25-28 grams per day.

Reduce your intake of sugars. Refined sugars raise the level of acidity in the body, which prompts him to produce greater amounts of yolk, and some bacteria feed them right. That way you can easily achieve the imbalance between the useful and “bad” bacteria in the body.

Relax. Stress is a major culprit and can cause problems with digestion, therefore, if you want healthy intestines, you must devote a little more time to yourself and allow the relaxation of body and mind.

Sleep at least 7-8 hours. Sleep, besides regulating hormones, also contributes to the feeling of satiety, pleasure and better immunity, which are both need nowadays.
