How to do an effective detox after the holidays? 8 solutions that work

Many fruits, vegetables and spices have scientifically recognized detoxifying properties. Here are some practical ideas to help your body eliminate excesses from the holiday season.

Turmeric is nicknamed the queen of spices, it is anti-inflammatory and allows better digestion. Do not hesitate to add it to all your preparations, sweet or savory. It brings a very delicate flavor to orange juice. Try!

Detox Soup

Ingredients

Potimarron, leeks, and black radish. Olive, rapeseed or sesame oil, according to your taste. Half a teaspoon of ginger, and a little salt.

Preparation

Clean and cut your vegetables into small cubes, cook gently in a suitable volume of water, over very low heat. Finally add the salt, ginger and a drizzle of oil and mix. Enjoy hot with slices of toasted wholemeal bread.

  • Optional: 0% cottage cheese.

Gently mix everything to get a good breakfast (or dinner) light, nutritious and detoxifying at the same time.

Apple Juice

The apple is very rich in antioxidants. It contains a lot of fiber that helps strengthen the intestinal flora. Eat an apple every morning or opt for homemade apple juice preferably. We advise you to buy a good juicer that will allow you to consume a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetable juices. This is the best detox plan we can advise you.

Fresh cucumber

Eat fresh cucumber more often. It contains vitamins A, B and C.

It gives vitality and avoids the bar strokes of the late afternoon. Avoid peeling it because the skin is very rich in fiber. The ideal would be to buy organic cucumber.

Add cardamom to your cup of coffee

Cardamom is excellent against digestive disorders, heartburn, cough, colds and bronchitis. Its subtle taste is highly appreciated by gourmets. Detoxifying spice widely used in the East to flavor rice, it is also added to coffee.
Just grind it finely and add a little to your morning cup of coffee. Try it, you will be captivated by its fresh and authentic taste.

Apple and celery smoothie

Celery is always present in Detox diets. It is rich in antioxidants, excellent for skin and eye health. Place thinly sliced apples and celery leaves in a blender, pour the juice of a lemon and mix.
