The ionic foot baths usually use warm water and salt to open up the pores and disinfect the feet – when the water turns dark, it means that the process is working.

Salt detox bath

Ingredients

A cup of sea salt and Epsom salt each

2 cups of baking soda

A few drops of your favorite essential oil

Instructions

Boil some water in a pot and add the salts in, then mix and let them dissolve and add this mixture to a tub of warm water. Add some ACV and essential oils as well, then soak your feet in the mixture for 30 minutes to detox your body through the feet. You might feel exhausted after the process, but this is normal when a large amount of toxins leaves your body.

Clay detox bath

Ingredients

½ a cup of Epsom salt and bentonite clay each

A few drops of your favorite essential oils

Instructions

Put the salts in a tub of hot water and allow them to dissolve, then add the essential oils and clay in the end. Mix well with a wooden spoon until everything dissolves, then soak your feet in the bath for20-25 minutes to detoxify your body and boost your magnesium levels as well.

Oxygen detox bath

Ingredients

A tablespoon of ginger powder

2 cups of hydrogen peroxide

Instructions

This bath is simple – fill a tub with warm water, then add the ginger and hydrogen peroxide and soak your feet in the mixture for 30 minutes. Besides eliminating toxins from your body, this bath will also relieve skin allergies and irritation.

Foot detox pads

The foot detox pads are an easy and affordable way of detoxifying your body through the feet. They can be found in any health store, or prepare easily at home. Just stick them on your soles before going to bed, and they should turn dark by the morning, which means that the process worked.
