Lemon water is known for its miraculous ability for weight loss, but still, there aren’t enough proofs that can support this theory. You should know that warm lemon water can leave some negative effects if you drink it regularly.

If you drink lemon water regularly, it could harm the enamel on your teeth, and if you don’t wash your mouth after drinking this potion, the acid could harm your teeth. Some recommend 1-2 cups of lemon water in order to lose weight, but there are some potions that are even better and safer than warm lemon water when it comes to the process of weight loss.

Coffee

Coffee energizes our organism and 2-3 cups of this drink allow us to exercise better, and more efficiently. A study released in the “Journal of Sports Medicine and Physical Health” concluded that 2-3 cups of coffee every day will allow you to implement up to 20% more repetitions while exercising. Anyway, you should know that coffee should be drank without milk and sugar if you like to gain the benefits.

Cold Water

Substitute the lemon water in the morning with a glass of cold water. It will encourage the organism to burn more energy, which results with lower weight. Drink 3 glasses of cold water during the day and you will be able to lose 100 calories. Do this every day and you will lose up to 4.5kg per year.

Green Tea

Green tea allows you to reduce your weight since it is calorie-free. A study concluded that participants who consumed 4 cups of green tea per day for 2 months managed to lose 3 kg. They lost more weight than participants who only consumed water during the study. Anyway, you should consume fresh tea without sugar. The green tea supplements could harm your liver.
