Step 1: Hydrate properly

Dehydration is one of the main causes of constipation. Make sure you drink enough water throughout the day, ideally between 8 and 10 glasses of water per day. Water helps soften the stool, making it easier for it to pass through the digestive system.

Step 2: Increase your fibre intake
