One of society’s main issues today is of the gastrointestinal variety. There are many factors that are causing these issues, but it is mostly because the people are not careful what they are consuming into their organisms. There are also outer factors that can lead to these issues like medicines, treatments and external chemicals that are affecting us.

You can bring back your healthy condition by simple changes in your diet and way of life.

The colon cleansing is one of the best ways for starting lifestyle changes. Colon cleansing will eliminate the toxins that are stored in your body, and it is also believed that it will reduce the risk of colon cancer. With cleansed colon you will strengthen and your overall health will be improved greatly.

If you are not consuming enough fiber, your meals will withhold into your colon. When empty, the colon is four pounds weight, and can contain up to eight meals. Once you begin with the colon cleansing, you will notice some weight loss, because your metabolism works better. Some people have lost up to twenty pounds in just one month, with a colon cleansing.

Foods without enough fiber are making you feel full and this food will move through the digestive system slowly. When you consume larger amounts of fiber-deficit foods, there will be more fecal matter that will weigh down the intestines.

With cleansed colon your body will be able to absorb more vitamins and good nutrients. With cleansed colon you will never have constipation problems again. Constipation can lead to extra weight, many ailments and discharging toxins in your body.

The colon can be inflamed by consummation of acid-creating foods which are very dangerous. Inflamed colon can’t work proper and will have slower production. It will lead to imbalanced pH if bacteria, yeasts, feces, molds or fungus penetrate into the bloodstream. Maintaining the balance of your pH is vital for your overall health. Without balanced pH your body is vulnerable from many health conditions like osteoporosis, thyroid issues, kidney stones, cancer and many others. You will have reduced muscle mass and weaker bones when the body will become too acidic.

The toxins consumed into your body are processed by the liver and the gastrointestinal system. If they are not eliminated in time, they will cause many health issues. There will be polyps and cysts expanded in your colon if the toxins are withholding for a larger period of time.

Without enough proper nutrition and vitamins, it will be harder for you to concentrate. When your colon is full, your mind will be disturbed and will quickly lose its focus. With the help of the cleansing diet you will be more active and concentrated.

The colon cleansing and healthy food choices can be very beneficial for your health. Your ability for reproduction will be boosted. Many naturopathic doctors are advising colon cleansing before trying reproduction for both men and women.

There are many foods out there that can assist you in cleansing of your colon. The most important are the vegetables and fruits, and of course the foods with plenty of fiber included. Maintaining hydration and fibers are the crucial factors for cleansing your colon. You mustn’t consume any processed and fried foods. By consuming these foods you will intake large amount of toxins and fats that will stick to your digestive system walls. Yet, if you are eating processed foods, you should compensate them with fermented foods like Greek yogurt, sauerkraut and kimchi.

Dark leafy greens, such as Brussels sprouts, cabbage, celery, leeks, peas, spinach, asparagus and seaweed are rich source of chlorophyll. The chlorophyll sticks to the membranes of the intestine and disables bacteria expansion, and it also assists in amending the mucus membrane of the gastrointestinal tract. For a successful liver cleansing, the chlorophyll is much needed. These leafy greens are also called cruciferous vegetables. They are helpful in both, cleansing and digestion. Also, when you are not implementing body cleansing diet, consuming dark leafy greens will compensate the bad foods that are consumed.
