Five Ways to Deal with High Body Temperature At Home | Healthy Life Vision

Gudrun Howell · April 14, 2016 ·

In a cold one of the symptoms is fever. See the five most effective ways to reduce body temperature:

  1. Drink more fluids. With the increase in body temperature the body dehydrates and therefore further increases the temperature. Much of the heat is excreted through sweating and urination. Drink plenty of mineral water, tea with honey and lemon and fruit drinks.
  2. Drink tea that will make you sweat. Such are linden tea and raspberry. 1 spoonful of selected tea in one cup of boiling water and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes. Drink it while it is still warm. Lie under warm covers, and start sweating. The more you sweat, the more the temperature goes down.
  3. Make liners with vinegar or brandy. So, make coatings to get rid of the body heat and cool down the body temperature. Apply brandy, alcohol, vinegar or vodka on your body, after you dilute it with water in a ratio of 1: 1. It is mandatory to apply compresses on the neck, armpits, and folds of the elbow, wrists, knees and groin.
  4. Make your own cold compresses. Fill plastic bottles with water and leave them in the refrigerator for about an hour. Remove them and place them under the armpits and behind the knees. On the forehead put your cloth with cold water.
  5. Take a warm shower. Turn on the hot water and feel the beneficial effects.
