Gudrun Howell · December 14, 2022 ·

Sleeping badly is a real torture. Indeed, sleep is extremely important to spend good days, be productive and in a good mood. On a daily basis, insomnia or difficulties related to falling asleep can be really restrictive. So how can you sleep better and improve the quality of your sleep? Today, we give you 3 tips!

Tip 1: Essential oils

To improve the quality of your sleep, first tip: essential oils. Indeed, they can be of incredible help to improve your nights in the long term. For centuries, these concentrated essences have been used, among other things, to promote muscle relaxation and slow down the heart rate. If you feel stress and your sleep is not restorative, you can opt for Bourbon Geranium essential oil that is used in diffusion. Wild lemon essential oil or ylang-ylang essential oil are particularly suitable for a bedtime routine. Indeed, these particularly sweet scents will help your brain gradually go into sleep mode. It is imperative that the smell pleases you, and that it is relaxing. You will be surprised to find that the effects will be quickly at the rendezvous: your mind will be much lighter at bedtime. Do not hesitate to try, it is a natural solution: a few drops on a handkerchief to breathe or on the pillow are enough!

Tip 2: The right bedding

Then, it is essential to offer you good bedding and in particular an Emma mattress that will be particularly well adapted to your morphology and your needs. Remember that the mattress welcomes you for long hours throughout the year, so it must be chosen with great care. You will be able to sleep better with an Emma mattress, the memory foam model is for example an excellent option. It is certainly an investment, but it is so important! Your lumbar and cervical should not suffer: a good quality mattress will allow you to adopt an optimal comfortable position, which will prevent you from back pain and aches that could disrupt the quality of your sleep.

Tip 3: Herbal teas

You have undoubtedly already heard of herbal teas. These are particularly recommended if you suffer from digestive problems and falling asleep. Indeed, a good herbal tea has many benefits, and can soothe you in case of tension. You can opt for chamomile which is calming, sedative and analgesic. But also for linden which has a great relaxing action and calms anxieties, or for verbena which facilitates digestion and calms intestinal pain. To consume without sugar in the evening before sleeping, herbal tea is particularly useful to help you fall asleep more easily and treat your ailments in a natural way.

As you will have understood, there are several tips that allow you to improve the quality of your sleep. All these tips are easy to implement and effective, whether bedding, herbal teas, or essential oils. You can combine these three tips to put all the chances on your side and spend a sweet restful night. Come on, now it’s up to you to change your habits and make the right choices!
