5 Fantastic Ways to Use Lemon Instead Of Cosmetic Products | Healthy Life Vision

Gudrun Howell · December 29, 2017 ·

Hundreds of years ago, lemon was often used for cosmetic purposes. As a natural source of vitamin C, lemon can be used to bleach the stains on the skin, but also for leveling the complexion. When it comes to hair, it can be noted that lemon ingredients help make your hair shiny and beautiful. In the following examples you will read what lemon can do, for the benefit of your beauty and health.

Peeling

In a bowl put the juice of half a lemon and a tablespoon of olive oil, and then mix all the ingredients well with a fork. Add one tablespoon of honey and stir well again, a finally add 50 grams of sugar.

Mask for revitalization and strengthening of the skin

Mix two tablespoons of yogurt and a tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Apply the mask on clean face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Allow it to dry (about twenty minutes to a half hour). You will feel tension in the face and neck, which is the goal of this mask. Then rinse with warm, then cold water. Gently pat dry, and then apply a moisturizing cream. This type of mask can be repeated every second day.

Moisturizing Mask for dry hair

In a bowl, mix 175 ml of olive oil, 125 ml of honey and three tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Wash your hair with shampoo and rinse it with water, then apply the mixture with lemon, ranging from the roots to the tips. Wrap the hair in a shower cap or a plastic bag, then in a hot towel. After half an hour, rinse your hair with warm water and apply a little conditioner. This fantastic mask restores moisture to the hair and prevents dandruff.

Rinse your hair

Use this procedure only if you have oily hair. Mix 125 ml of water with 60 ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Rinse your hair with this mixture after shampooing. Your hair will look shinier and healthier.

Dandruff Treatment

Mix the juice of half a lemon, 60 ml of coconut oil and massage the resulting mixture into the root of the hair and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then wash your hair as usual.
