She Rubs Aspirin Into Her Hair. The Reason? Did You Know It Could Do All This ? | Healthy Life Vision

Gudrun Howell · November 16, 2017 ·

Aspirin is one of the most widely used pain-killers and people often use it to soothe their toothache, headache, or any other type of pain. However, few people know that this popular over-the-counter drug contains substances which help with many other things, besides relieving pain. Keep reading and check out the non-medicinal ways to use aspirin!

Given the fact that it contains salicylic acid, it is very effective at reducing the formation of dandruff in your hair. According to Dr. Joshua Zeichner, applying the combination of aspirin and shampoo onto the scalp reduces scalp inflammation which is the cause of dandruff. Moreover, it helps exfoliate flakes on the skin!

All you have to do is to crush 2-3 aspirins, add them to your shampoo and massage the scalp. Let it work for about 5 minutes and wash it off afterwards.

Its salicylic acid content is also capable of removing dead cells and excess oil from the skin. As noted by Everyday Health, aspirin works great against psoriasis and acne, as it unclogs pores and reduces swelling, redness, and skin lesions.

Add 5 crushed pills into a quarter cup of water. Mix well and apply the mixture onto the skin. Let it work for about 10 minutes before washing it off.

Stains are often difficult to remove and you simply cannot wash them with regular laundry cycles. Luckily, you can erase stains with the help of something as common as aspiring!

All you have to do is to prepare a paste by mixing aspiring and some water and apply onto the stains. Leave the mixture work for a while, rinse well, and then wash as you normally do.

Have you ever find in a situation when the car`s batter just won`t start and you are pressed for time and unable to wait for help? You will be surprised to learn that dropping crushed aspirin tablets into the battery can help you solve this issue.

The reason behind this is that the salicylic acid in aspirin works with sulfuric acid in the battery. Therefore, it helps your car get enough of a boost to make it to the station.

Again, the salicylic acid in aspirin blocks both mold and ethylene production, two of the most common causes of wilting in garden flowers.

All you have to do is to combine crushed aspirin with some water and pour the solution onto the flowers. Another option is to put the bouquets into this mixture to help them live longer.
