You can find baking soda in every household today. It is amazing that this cheap and common ingredient is one of the most beneficial ingredients for our health. With a homemade baking soda face mask you will be able to clean your skin and destroy many potentially dangerous pathogens. Baking soda makes your face softer, cleaner and fresher. It is even more effective than those expensive health and beauty products. It will also remove your acne and keep you safe from rashes.

How to Make a Baking Soda Face Mask

The process of making this mask is very simple. In order to make it more effective, you can add other beneficial ingredients. The following type of face mask is highly effective:

  • All you need to do is to combine 1 tablespoon of cool water with 1½ tablespoon of baking powder. Mix it well and apply it on your face. Leave it to work for 5-10 minutes. Then you can wash your face with warm water, dry it well and apply an oil-free moisturizer.

Benefits of Baking Soda Face Mask

  • The greatest benefit of this mask is the removal of acne and other blemishes. The baking soda is potent natural antibiotic that is very useful against any underlying fungal infections. It is even able to remove any acne scars and enhance the curing of acne damage.
  • It is very effective against blackheads. It fights against infections that are result of the blackheads and slacken the skin around which makes them easier for drawing out.
  • This mask is very helpful for your pores since it has mild antiseptic and anti-inflammatory characteristics that can reduce inflammation, making your skin look better because it opens the pores. It also assists in better absorbing of oil which prevents any clogging on your pores.
  • Baking soda is also able to reduce the pain caused from skin toning.
